Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides- review

Yesterday, I went to the cinema to see 'Pirates of the Caribbean- on stranger tides'. It was trashed by papers. "Another one" was a common phrase! But since I am myself a great Johnny Depp follower I was looking forward to this for months.

Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom dropped out so this was a 'Jack Sparrow' movie. Penelope Cruz plays Jacks love interest. The movie itself was very good with often hints of humour. Two things I would say is too long by about twenty minutes and they tried too hard to set up a romance that was missing since Elizabeth and Will are gone. Far-fetched romance that sidetracked you from the actual story.

But if your looking for a funny track on the pirate take go and see it!!

The Royal Wedding- The Kiss

After coming back from the church William and Kate proceeded up to the Balcony where they exchanged a very royal kiss. What else can I say? Look at the picture for yourself!

The Royal Wedding- William and Kate- part 1

Today is the Royal wedding. At this very moment the ceremony is going on in Westminister Abbey. Diana's eldest son is marrying his true love.

Everyone has been waiting for this day since William and Kate declared their engagement. The newspapers and magazines have been speculating the dress. And now we have all seen it. She is a beautiful bride, standing just where Diana did all those years ago.

The Dress consists of lots of lace and pearls and a lovely train. She is wearing a crown that has been handed down to her and beautiful jewelery. But her most distinguishing feature is her smile. She seems so happy to marry William, so happy that they are in love. It is so sweet.

She seemed nervous going up the Aile, who wouldn't be? With so many eyes watching you how can you not be afraid of tripping or moving too fast or too slow. But she did it perfectly and she deserved to, too.

Brown Thomas- Georgia May Jagger

Today I went to Brown Thomas for fashion ideas. When entering, I heard the intercom saying something about a Georgia May Jagger promotion and I also saw a lot of posters around about it! I went over for a look when I saw Georgia being ambushed by photographers and people queueing to get there photo taken with her.

I went upstairs to look around and came back about twenty minutes later. I had planned to buy the bag but my mom asked me to take some more pictures first. I went up with the iPhone where I managed to find myself next to tons of reporters. I got my photo of her, when I heard things like ' mini Georgia ' and 'so cute'.

I was then pulled in front of a camera, my bag and my moms phone taken away and next to me was Georgia May Jagger!! The beautiful Georgia May Jagger! What could I do? I just striked a few poses and before I knew it was over. I walked out of the store with a shocked impression on my face. One of the best experiences ever! So enjoyable!

KFW- Award presentations!

On Tuesday, myself and my mom, Orla Diffily. Headed out to Adare Manor to meet with Celia Holman Lee, winner of 'Best Dressed Woman in Ireland 2011'.

She was delighted to meet us and she was very pleased with her Killarney Crystal vase and her 'Gong'! The Gong was made by myself and was a doll made to look like Celia Holman Lee. It was a great experience. She herself is a lovely woman with a great smile and great fashion sense.

On Wednesday, myself and my mom, Orla Diffily. Headed out to Carton house near Dublin. There we met with Micheal Long who won 'Designer of the year'. He was in the middle of an image shoot. I got to see all the behind the scenes and the beauty involved. He too was very pleased with his Killarney Crystal vase and the title.

I was very lucky to attend both of these presentations and I am sure everyone is happy with the results, I know I am!

My never ending opinion,

Dingle Film Festival- We will always have Dingle- premiere

Last night I attended the premiere of 'We will always have Dingle'. It was a struggle to get tickets. Some people were so looking forward to it that even though there were no seats left they stood at the back of the cinema. Yes it was that good.

It was a Docu-dramedy. As called by Maurice Galway. Instead of being just a plain and boring documentary at regular times pieces of movies reenacted came into play. Which made it funny and perfectly watchable. It featured scenes from 'The Omen', 'Some like it hot' and 'Jaws'.
But although it had these funny twists it was still based on Dingle.

There was pieces of old Dingle film festivals as well which of course featured Cillian Murphy from Batman, who attended a past festival. Maurice's family were also featured such as Katherine Galway, Archie Galway, Ri Galway, Gabriel Galway and of course the cute sweetheart Lila Galway.

The movie was an hour long and after that people got to ask the crew questions. It was a very exciting and interesting experience. I, as well as many others are looking forward to this weekend. The Dingle film festival.

CONFIRMATION- the Lowdown

My Confirmation is coming up.Like many other girls my age the dilemma is not in remembering when to stand, when to sit and when to amen. But it is what to wear!

Well here is the way,

Lets start with the dress,

  1. What colour is your hair? Brunette, Black, Red or Blonde.

BRUNETTES
If you are Brunette, wear something bright away from the brown go for something yellow, blue, green or if you want to stay suttle cream.

BLACK HAIR
If you have Black hair, wear something similar or away from it. You could wear white or cream to give a more pretty look or you could go for black or red for the more 'gothy' look.

REDHEADS
If you are a Redhead, go for something bright to match the vibrancy of your hair. Go with a yellow, a green or a very vibrant blue.

BLONDES
If you are a Blond,( like myself ) go for a black, a blue or a red. Never ever, ever go for a yellow! It will match with your hair and look tacky!

Now for the hair its self,

BRUNETTES
For Brunettes, if you went for a yellow dress straight hair would look okay.. But a way to look better is to have your hair down in soft curls. If you want an updo for your dress choose something with vibrancy that shows your hair.

If you went for a Blue or Green dress, go for something that suttles it out maybe with soft curls or a relaxed, loose updo. Remember that you are trying to match the dress in it's texture. So work on that.

If you went for the Cream dress, choose tight or loose. If you go for tight look pick maybe a bun with a curl coming down at the front. Or if you went for loose, straight or curls will match it perfectly.

BLACK HAIR
If you have Black hair, and you picked 'the pretty look' white or cream. Go for soft hair dos like curls or a soft up-do, like a plate across the head with a bun of loose curls.

If you went for darker look straight hair is the way to go it will really emphasize your look and bring all the 'gothy' way!

REDHEADS
If you have Red hair, no matter which colour you picked,go for down show the vibrancy of your hair!!

BLONDES
For the Blondes, go for and up-do with a soft look or a down do witha soft look it is like the red heads show your colour!!

This isn't just for Confirmation use it whenever you need it! Enjoy!
