Amy Green teen agony queen -boy trouble by Sarah Webb

Meet Amy Green Sarah Webb's first children's book. As I have demonstrated before a good back cover and a good first page are the best way to draw you in. The problem is sometimes there are both these things and the book goes down a slippery slope from here. But this one as many books I have read keeps up the pace. See what I mean...
Meet Amy Green- When Amy's breathtakingly crazy Aunt Clover lands job on The Goss magazine she need the eyes and ears of a thirteen year old to help her. Clover is still a teenager herself and brilliant at solving problems problems, but she's not the usual writing Agony Aunt. She firmly believes in taking action- in person. Amy may have many problems of her own but my going into action with Clover she finds for herself as well as helping others.
Do you see what I mean? Well I didn't pick this out of the bookshop myself but for my birthday I got this book, I got a lot of books and this was one of the first ones I read all because of a good starting line. All in all a good starting line, strong characters and a good base with not too many little plot to get you off track. A nice light read! ( for me anyway )
