Kerry Film Festival

On the radar at the moment for people of Kerry and beyond is the Kerry film festival.

I myself am attending on Wednesday the 3rd of November. To review film shorts and a full- length movie with my fellow classmates. We are being given sheets and we must judge which three are the best.

I am looking forward to attending and I am looking forward to enjoying myself.
Further updates after the 3rd of November.

Girls guide- how to be best at everything

Girls guide- how to be the best at everything

This book isn't really a reading book.
It is more of a read and put it down book. It gives you tons of things to do that could keep you occupied for hours! All of a girls necessities.

How to explain why you are late for school, How to host the best sleepover, How to deal with bullies, How to win a bet, How to set a World record, How to interpret doodles, How to wrap a present beautifully, How to tidy your room in 15 minutes.

And I could go on. It may seem like I am advertising this series but I just love them so much. They keep you occupied to say the least. Although I can't keep giving this book praise. There are some things featured that could never happen. But it's all fun!

There are also others like these. The Glorious book for girls, The fabulous girls book, what to do with your mother and many more.

I just hope that after you read this you will buy the series and enjoy them as much as I do.

Happy Halloween- the time is upon us

Happy Halloween!

As usual, Christmas decorations are being put up. I think it is completely ridiculous! Thats why last night I was happy to find that some people agreed with me and put on a great festive Halloween movie. Old but brilliant.

The Addams family.

This is defiently a Halloween classic. Funny but with just the right type of comedy. Different style then any other movie. This is an oh so strange family. But it ties together perfectly. A bit of humour is what we need.Instead of being scared out of our wits!

Brilliant!

Kensukes Kingdom

I read 'Kensukes Kingdom' as a school novel.

We all found it very good. Well written, emotional and well done. But after all this good praise there had to be a flaw. Unfortunately this book had one or two. The ending just wasn't up to scratch. It seemed to end too quickly with an improbable ending.

Also the big flaw for me was that there are just so many of these type of treasure island books.
They all start the same way and they all end the same way. Kinda annoying really. But it was well written in another way.

It brightened up school a little bit. Thanks Micheal Morpurgo!

Jacqueline Wilson, Sarah Webb, J.K Rowling and no Stephenie Meyer???

There is some really good authors around the world and I said that I would send them an email to ask them about being an author. In return I gave them a review on there book. Like thousands of others. I particularly enjoy the twilight series. So I said that I would write to Stephenie Meyer.

I went and visited her offical website. And like I did with the others I went looking for contact information. This is what I found,
' For those of you hoping to find an email address or a way to contact Stephenie — I apologize. There is currently no way for fans to get in contact with her. Stephenie is still much too busy to re-open her fan email or snail mail addresses. Also, I cannot forward emails. She is in the process of writing/editing multiple books, and I think we can all agree that we would rather that she spends her time writing instead of reading thousands of emails every day.'

I thought that like so many other authors she would at least had time to give back a standard letter. Some people will say that this is all because it is a world wide sensation in books and movies. So are the books of other authors. What do you think?

Just my opinion,

Teen Beauty Boot Camp

Last week,
I attended Orla Diffily's Beauty Boot Camp. It showed me a lot about style, fashion and a good few tips on how to use them. You sit down and enjoy your self for a day. But at the same time your learning how to express yourself. Deportment, makeovers the whole lot. It was a great day out. My walk has improved, I sit properly now and I have a better sense of style. Definitely worth it!
Another is on 29th of October 2010 in Carlton Hotel Dublin.

Beautiful dead- Phoenix

The last in the series and a good one too, guessable the ending but it ties everything off very well. The characters say strong and it doesn't seem too hurried. This was a love story with a twist and it ended on the verge of a happy ending. Thank you Darina for once a gain showing me that love can come in all different shapes and sizes.
A great read
