Distant waves- by Suzanne Weyn- the fantasy version of the Titanic

' We had foreseen that the ship would sink but we didn't believe it '
The titanic the tragedy,the gripping sentence and all. The whole way through you have a gripping edge and the imagination is pulling on the fantasy side but then it all happens at once and the book is over with a strange wow at the end. Wow as in completely mad over the top imaginative edge. It was a ending I was defiantly not expecting!
The characters to me are a bit incomplete as if they need a sequel even though the ending is so tragic, it does not lead up to it correctly it seems like it ends too soon for the characters not the readers. It is a read that will get your imagination spinning anyway!
